Welcome to The Little Elephant

Hello, I'm Heather — the hands and heart behind The Little Elephant. I design and handcraft every item in my shop with love, care and a whole lot of attention to detail.

I grew up in Zimbabwe, where my Mum passed down a wonderful range of craft skills that have stayed with me ever since. I went on to study Graphic Design at university and spent several years working in advertising and marketing.

In 2005 I made the move to Portishead in the UK, bringing those skills, and a lifelong passion for making, with me. Then in 2014, I became a Mum to the most inspiring little boy, and everything changed.

Motherhood reignited my love of crafting, and The Little Elephant was born. A place where creativity, quality, and a personal touch come together in every piece. I hope you find something here that brings a little joy to your home and family.
